When I click Copy to Clipboard I see:
Transaction failure
(Wow, two dialogs to tell me absolutely nothing usefull)
Is there a way to find out why uninstall from Discover gives a Transaction failure?
Not that I believe it is relevant but I tried to uninstall kMailer

You would need to use your distro’s native package management tools or logs to see the full error.
Discover/Packagekit seems to only show part of the error messaging.
discover/packagekit only shows half the error for me
id try:
-journalctl -u packagekit -b --no-pager | tail -80
-pkcon -v remove PACKAGENAME
on apt/debian-ish:
-sudo apt remove --purge PACKAGENAME
-sudo apt -f install
if it was a flatpak:
-flatpak list | grep -i kmail
-flatpak uninstall --delete-data APPID
Please enlighten me. what do you need?

#apt keeps a history of packages installed/removed
/var/log/apt/
you can run journalctl -f which follows log entries in real time, then try your discover action
Seeing that you are using Fedora, you’d use dnf upgrade I assume. Not sure where this keeps log files exactly, probably in /var/log somewhere.
fedora packages:
-dnf list installed | grep -i kmail
-sudo dnf remove kmail (or the name that list shows)
-journalctl -u packagekit -b --no-pager | tail -80
-sudo dnf history list | head
paste the dnf remove output if it refuses.
