A KDE distro with precompiled static linked apps (konqueror e.t.c ) would be useful .
It would allow me to do upgrades without breaking other apps.
Hi - I’m not sure about distributions with an approach of intentionally using static linking - there are ones with philosophies ranging from “moderately discouraged” to specifically against it.
If your concern is decoupling system updates from application updates, then Flatpak sounds like it would help there?
