Hello .
By default, in the preview view, the zoom level is kept from one image to another .
Example :
I click on the picture “001” in the “top thumbnails ribbon” → DK will show “001” just below the ribbon, inside the preview “window”, as expected, OK . But now if I zoom in (or out) in the 001.picture (set zoom at 40%, example), and then I click on the picture “002” (to view 002 in the preview window instead of “001”) → 002 will replace 001 as exepcted, BUT keeping the zoom level at same value …
So…
It is really practical to read comics (like numeroted jpegs in a folder, not encapsulated in a pdf…), for sure, that’s great cause each scan have same definition, so keeping the zoom level image to image is nice …
But,
it is much more less relevant in all other cases, which are the dominant ones (browsing through pictures implies some WILL have different definition than others, it’s not rare at all (-: ) …
Currently if you zoom out a “big” picture in the preview windows, and then display a “small” one : the new one (small) will appear supertiny in the preview window, and you will need to zoom in to see something .
Sure I can use the “fit to screen” shortcut as workaround, but it remains not optimal …
I looked in the DK préférences-menu to change that, in order to get the zoom level to be reset automaticaly to “fit to screen” at every image change . But I was surprised not to find it . I expected a button or thickbox to give this choice (keep zoom, or reset zoom), as it’s a basical feature of any picture viewer . I then Googled a bit about that, but no results too .
Did I missed the parameter somewhere ?
Is this a missing feature ?
Thanks for help .
