Does anyone know how I can set up hotkeys to show/hide panels?

Since switching to Linux, I’ve been learning how to use Krita. So far, I’ve had no trouble with the tools, but I also want to customize my workspace.
I used to work with Corel Painter, which is why Krita feels really comfortable to me — the brushes are just as beautiful, and a lot of them even look pretty similar. I’ve already customized the interface to look a lot like what I had in Painter, but no matter how much I searched through the settings, I couldn’t find a way to assign hotkeys to show or hide panels.

I like working with a clean screen to make the most of my monitor space (I’m on a 27" Samsung T35F with an IPS panel). For example, I’d love to use F2 to show/hide the toolbox and F7 for the layers panel — that way, I can toggle them only when I need them instead of having everything cluttering the screen.

If anyone knows if this is possible in Krita, I’d really appreciate the help.
Thanks a lot!

checking my krita shortcuts and there are a lotta blanks, so i’m guessing it’s an open canvas for you set up whatever shortcuts you like…. but there are lots of show this, or hide that and toolbar toggles you can set up.

you can also load shortcuts from a file, so likely if you post in a krita forum about what shortcuts everyone’s using you will get a lot more help that you will here.

if there is a too/panel shortcut that is not listed, consider making a donation and making a feature request to add it.
