Hello everyone,
Firstly I want to apologize for my bad english (it is not my native language, but I’m trying my best to use a “good” english) and my ignorances about linux distros or anything else, I’m a newbie.
Secondly, I would apologize because I don’t know if this topic is on the good forum (not sure if it’s a KDE topic).
Recently I’ve been concerned about using open-source and privacy-friendly softwares, and I’ve recently found that my laptop and my smartphones weren’t privacy-friendly at all (running W10 and Android) so I’ve looked to replace the operating systems of these devices, consequently, I’m glad because I’ve found a distro for my computer that fits me (I’m still using sometimes W10 with dual boot for some apps that aren’t supported, my bad).
But, for my smartphone, after some research I’ve discovered Fedora KDE Plasma Mobile Spin and so Plasma Mobile, but I don’t really get the point, does these are inteded to run on smartphones (meaning that I could send text messages, make phone calls and use usual 2G/3G/4G/5G “networks” -not sure if that the good term to speak about that-, take photos…) to replace Android operating system ?
Hope I don’t bother anyone with my questions, also hoping that this is the right place to ask this question,
Have a nice day/evening and thank you for your answers
