Does KDE prefer PayPal over SEPA for donations?

The donations page lists various ways to donate to KDE.

It says that PayPal is the preferred way to donate, and I don’t mind using it if it’s the optimal one for you, but is it really? Does PayPal work out better for you than if I send some € to your bank account in a SEPA transfer?

No, not really. In fact, PayPal gets a (small) cut from your donation, with SEPA that’s not the case.

We know that more often than not, SEPA is a bit harder to use for the users.
