Does Plasma only play system sounds when system sounds are enabled?

It doesn’t make sense for that to be the case, I hope it’s a bug.

Do you have this unchecked?

If I have notification settings unchecked here it’s not playing the samples on that menu.

And if you uncheck it, are you able to play the sounds in the Notification menu?

If I uncheck, the sounds are not played. I think is a normal behaviour.

I don’t think making the play sample sample non-function is intentional, especially without any explanation.

sound works. With checkbox marked or unmarked. Sounds always.

The place where there is no sound is in the notifications.
