Does Plasma6.2 tone-mapping affect MPV's tone-mapping?

Plasma6.2 implemented a better tone-mapping method for HDR contents. However, there are 3 pictures show that all of the videos are played in MPV player, does it mean that after MPV does the tone-mapping, Plasma desktop does the tone-mapping again?

No. When you play an HDR video in mpv, it either passes it to KWin as an sRGB image that doesn’t need any additional tone mapping, or it passes it as the original HDR frames, without doing any tone mapping.
