I’m running Dolphin on Debian Trixie, without the full KDE desktop install (using sway). I get errors when I try to access my android phone or a samba share.
The phone shows up as a device, but when I click on it, this is the error I get:
The file or folder udi=/org/kde/solid/udev/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.0/usb2/2-1/2-1.7/2-1.7.6 does not exist.
And for the SMB share:
Communication with the local password server failed
I can mount the MTP device manually using “jmtpfs,” and I can also mount the SMB share manually using “mount -t cifs.”
I’m wondering if there’s an extra package that wasn’t included as a dependency that Dolphin needs to work? Or any idea on how I can get it working.
Kio-extras is installed.
