Tried to compress 2 windows executable into a 7zip archive yesterday.
Selecting the files in dolphin, right click, compress to, type: 7-Zip-Archive, gave that a Name and clicked OK.
Not only did I not get a error message, the notification even told me “… finished” with a link to a file only when clicked throwing a “File or drawer does not exist” .
What the?
Today I figured out myself that I need the package with the 7z command, it seems, to be able to do that with dolphin.
Seriously I would not call it “finished” if it is not able to create the archive in the first place.
