Dolphin: customize arangement of thumbnails on folders

When a folder contains one or several images, their thumbnails are displayed on the folder icon at… let’s say playful, angles. (See attached snapshot)

This look is fine, but I’m a bit bored and I feel like changing it.

Is it possible, through theming or any method, to modify those angles and straighten the thumbnails? l mean, having their bottom lines horizontal, not diagonal. The angles must be declared and editable somewhere, aren’t they? I couldn’t find any info on this.

And what about modifying the spacing / size to avoid or increase overlap?

Even if it’s not possible, thank you to everyone working on anything KDE :slightly_smiling_face:

To my knowledge, the angles are hardcoded somewhere in thumbnail/thumbnail.cpp · master · Network / KIO Extras · GitLab. You could certainly edit the file to give the thumbnails a different style and recompile it for your own usage, if that’s your jam!

Everything seems to be here, thank you!
