Google is blocking KDE apps for reasons known only to them. Notwithstanding, using Google services is a bad idea: Sooner or later you will regret it. They will lock you out, leak private info, or mess with your data in ways we cannot even start to imagine.

Yup, sorry - not a Dolphin problem, but a āGoogle stuffed us againā.
Truly the only way to fix the bug is to blacklist and block Googleā¦
But KDE includes it for useability - but at the expense of it being frequently broken and useless.
Something tells me youāre a little predjudiced in the matterā¦
However, my son had an issue with YouTube, and then was completely shocked to find that it didnāt only affect his account there, but his entire Google account - history in Maps/photos/tons of other thingsā¦
So yes, they can lock you out of more than just a āGoogle Accountā - many people have half their life in there.

Damned right. I have not been locked out from any Google service yet (not that I use that many, GMail as a spam catcher and that is about it), but I have read enough horror stories of how Google effs over users for āreasonsā, leaving people without recourse to say ānope, not even onceā.

I definitely separated my Youtube/spam account from my main account at that stage - fortunately I managed to get 3 separate mails, one for a phone, one for YT, and my original from the 1990sā¦
Between Google Phones and Google Maps, theyāve really gone too far and the USA is the last country on earth capable of putting any reigns on them.
