Dolphin refuse open odg and pdf files

Dolphin decided to randomly wont open odg, and pdf file automatically. however it open just fine using gnome file manager. why is that?

Can you please explain what happens when you right click a PDF or ODG file in Dolphin? What is the text of the first menu entry and what happens when you click it?

Also can you explain your use of the term “randomly”? Do you mean that sometimes it opens and some times it doesn’t?

@Gibran_Alfil:

Can you show us something?
What OS?
What version of KDE?
X11 or Wayland?
When I try to open a pdf file, Okular opens it just fine.
In KDE 6 it took some time to find Default Applications. I really miss the System Settings from KD5! :sob: :sob: :sob:
