Dolphin - Root filesystem operations

Hello everyone. :slight_smile:

I’d like to be able to perform root level filesystem manipulations using Dolphin; however I understand running the whole program as root is a bad idea…

I found this article stating Polkit have been implemented in KIO in 2022, but I’ve read somewhere that this unfortunately been reverted back…

I’m still on Plasma 5 (plan to migrate the sooner I can), but I would like to know if this has finally been implemented (or if this is in progress).

Afaik Polkit integration has not been implemented yet, but you can use kio-admin instead.
