Donate to our Fundraiser and Support Good People!

Gnome, Document Foundation, FSFE,… and so many other community-driven Free and Open Source organizations are the Good People of the tech world.

This year we are asking you consider them (and also maybe us!) when you donate. Donate to the people that fight for your digital rights, your privacy, and your right to not be exploited by the predatory corporations in the tech industry.

I have made a donation to adopt an app but I didn’t see a place where to put the preferred app so I now donated without adopting. Is there a way to change this?

You can write a comment when you donate. We are asking people to put the name of the app there.

But it is no trouble: just shoot me a private message and tell me the app and which name you would like us to put and we’ll do it by hand.

Also maybe the name you donated under so we can find your donation.

I indeed missed the comment section while donating, my bad. DM sent, thanks!

We have more apps for you to adopt!: Kasts, Labplot, Filelight and Konsole

You can adopt Kasts, a very cool and full-featured podcast application which works both on your desktop and your phone:

Or maybe you want to express your support for @labplot, a data analysis and visualization tool ideal for research, education, science and business:

You could also sponsor Filelight, a utility that allows you to visually monitor usage of the storage on your computer:

Or choose Konsole! KDE’s classic terminal emulator that has dozens of tricks up its sleeve that make working on the command line easy, fun and productive:

Gwenview, Elisa, Konqueror and KRDC added to the list of adoptable apps

You can use Gwenview to view and do basic edits to images, Elisa is a sleek music player, Konqueror is KDE’s classic file and web browser, and KRDC allows you to visit and use remote in a windows of your local desktop.

ISO Image Writer, Partition Manager, SkanPage and System Monitor added to the list of adoptable apps.

If using the command line to burn disk images makes you nervous, ISO Image Writer is your friend!

Likewise, creating and modifying partitions can be scary, so why not use KDE’s friendly Partition Manager?

SkanPage will help you connect your scanner and you’ll be scanning all your important documents quickly and easily.

And to keep an eye on what’s going on on your machine, don’t miss Plasma’s System Monitor. Personalize pages with sensors and keep an eye on what’s important to you.
