I want to Find JPG that need to be rotated (EXIF rotation is top, left) within the sub-album I am working on. When using the advanced find tool, I need to browse across the complete hierarchy of albums to re-select the album of interest. Any shortcut to apply a search on the current sub-album without reselecting it in the search form?
Hi @sgranjeaud , am I right, that you have the same question / issue with the advanced search, than I do?
Please check my post here:
(pls. refer to my post in HELP category / Digikam TAG yesterday “Search for pictures in sub-file structure” - I cannot post links here… strange forum rules)
Have you published your question elsewhere already?
I am running DK since approx 3 years and this issue has been present for a long time.
I always thought, there MUST be a way to manage this and this can’t be a missing feature because it is so obvious….
Thanks for your feedback and for the tip I am already being using.
Correct, my point concerns the advanced search. My wish is to right-clic on a (sub-)album and to view an item like “Advanced search here”, which avoids me to go through the entire hierarchy of the albums in order to select the (sub-)album I want to work on. It would be so cool…
I didn’t post anywhere else as it ousnds to be THE place to post question. I hope developers read this forum.
