Enabling HDR causes shimmering while moving mouse cursor when there are gradients

I don’t know where to report this.

It’s very obvious if you generate a gradient on your browser, there are sites for that.
GIMP has a grey gradient background in its UI, the bug also happens when maximizing the window.

This should be definitely a bug, so it should go to https://bugs.kde.org if I’m right.

Ok, but is it a plasma bug? A kwin bug? Which KDE component do I open the bug for?

Kwin. If in doubt just report it where you think is appropriate and people will move it to the correct place
