Enabling touchscreen gestures in fullscreen?

Is there any way to enable touchscreen edge gestures when focused on a fullscreen window?
I am using a tablet (pinetab2), and I use okular to read PDF documents. I often would like to switch to another window while keeping okular in fullscreen mode in the background. Currently I attach the keyboard, alt-tab, detach the keyboard, or I use the menu to disable fullscreen temporarily (which is annoying). Being able to use my edge gesture to open the application launcher or overview would be nice, except touchscreen edge gestures don’t work in fullscreen.
Having them work would solve more than just okular.

If anyone here knows if it’s possible to enable and knows how, I’d like to know. Apart from that, I’m pretty happy with KDE’s touchscreen compatibility.

This is something that should probably just be fixed; screen edges are disabled in fullscreen for gaming, but that isn’t necessary for touch. You can disable that behavior in the screen edge settings though.
You can also use global touch screen gestures, just use 3 fingers on the screen and swipe up/down/left/right

I just tried it, and it worked! I didn’t expect the setting for mouse edges to also apply to touchscreen edges :), as they are not only in different settings items but also in different categories… but thanks, this’ll help a lot! I don’t game on this device, and I also rarely use the touchpad anymore, so that’s not an issue for me.

I thought I replied via email yesterday already, but apparently my reply didn’t send or something…
