is it already possible somehow to encrypt multiple files with Kleopatra (e.g. over the Windows context menu -> More GpgEX Options -> Encrypt) and selecting Encrypt with password without the need to enter the password again and again for every file I selected?
If I want to encrypt single files this is really annoying. Should there be no possibility to do so, is this the right place for a feature request?
As it is not good practice to use a symmetric password repeatedly, your desired workflow is not possible in Kleopatra.
If you want to encrypt several files with one password, select them all in the explorer and then choose encrypt in the context menu. Then an archive with all selected files is created in one go.
I’m new to using Kleopatra, so I want to learn more about it. What’s the advantage of using Kleopatra to encrypt files if other tools like some email platforms (gmail or outlook) offers encryption methods? Is it for privacy or security? I just want to know how else I can utilize Kleopatra other than decrypting messages.
