Erratic "Drop Shadow"

I have tried the Drop Shadow effect on a PNG that has transparency.

The drop shadow shows up fine when initially activated. Then, if I try to adjust the Drop Shdow settings (Blur radius, X Offset, Y Offset), the Drop Shadow disappears and the numbers do not move (they remain at 0.000). Adjusting the numbers in the number box with both the mouse & keyboard result in no changes, though you can drag the blue bar, but the numbers won’t change from 0.000.

Is anyone else experiencing the same?
I am using kdenlive 24.08.3 appimage.

No, it’s not, I’m seeing the same behaviour with the 24.08.3 appimage - but that’s not an effect I’ve used before, so I can’t say if or when it last worked as expected.

It’s a real bug though, so worth reporting to the tracker.

Doesn’t work for me either, now running 24.12.1.
