Kate works fine if I simply view one file. However if I enable the file browser plugin, or select another directory from the breadcrumb trail on top, the CPU usage goes up to 100% and Kate freezes. I am using Gentoo and XFCE. Can anyone suggest ways to troubleshoot problem?
