I imported several images into digikam and added a couple of new tags. When I tried to add another tag digikam displayed “Failed to add tag to the database”.
This is not a very helpful message, as there is no clue to why the tag wasn’t written.
In desperation, I restarted digikam and the error did not recur.
Is there anything I can do if the error reappears?
