<Tale of woe!>
I was creating my next video, and I had all the proxy clips in place. The next time I loaded Kdenlive, it was telling me my cache was too large and to clean it up. Not thinking, I deleted the cache files and lost all my proxy clips. It then informed me that my project had 43 missing proxies, and do I want to recreate them. I obviously said yes, as I needed them back. Lo and behold, I have 43 failures, with the following response.
[mov @ 0x25349a80] Could not find tag for codec h264 in stream #2, codec not currently supported in container
[out#0/mov @ 0x2538de80] Could not write header (incorrect codec parameters ?): Invalid argument
[vf#0:0 @ 0x25364d00] Error sending frames to consumers: Invalid argument
[vf#0:0 @ 0x25364d00] Task finished with error code: -22 (Invalid argument)
[vf#0:0 @ 0x25364d00] Terminating thread with return code -22 (Invalid argument)
So I tried duplicating the file and removing all references to the cache folder, which had the proxies that were now gone. This reloaded without telling me that I had lost my proxies, which I thought was a step forward. But once I started the proxy clip[ process again, it failed just like before.
Does anyone have a potential solution to solve my issue? I really need the proxy clips back, as my computer struggles with the raw 4K video.
TIA
