Falkon web browser - Cannot open distrowatch.com

Hi, I cannot open distrowatch.com with Falkon.

System is : Emmabuntus Debian Edition 5 32 Bits

2 web browsers : Falkon 22.12.1 (32 Bits) and Midori 11.6-1 i386

I tried with Midori on the same computer : no problem opening distrowatch.com.

I tried with Falkon AdBlock enabled / disabled : still distrowatch.com don’t open.

The error message on Falkon web page says :

“Fobidden“ “You don’t have permission to access this resource“

At this present time this is all the information I can have.

Hi, this is an update on my post

The problem was the “user agent“ parameter. This is found at:

Falkon -­­->> Preferences -­­->> Other-­­->> User Agent select list.

Another “user agent“ can be activated to solve the problem.

Also an agent can be selected for a specific website.

Thanks to Distrowatch people for their info about that “user agent“.

I would consider this topic as “SOLVED“.
