Konsole has a neat feature taken from Terminator, tmux, and multixterm which is to write the same at the same time in several terminals, both tabs and splitted terminals.
I’m a big fan of yakuake, and I think this feature is missing and perhaps, as yakuake is based on konsole, is not too hard to achieve.
Hi - well, today I learned that such a feature exists in Konsole - that is pretty handy indeed!
Just for reference, developers check for and handle feature requests in KDE products through the KDE Bugtracking System (Bugzilla instance).
If you’re interested in submitting this as a wishlist item for Yakuake contributors, but aren’t already up and running on Bugzilla, I’d recommend checking out the Community Wiki guide to getting setup and submitting tickets: Get Involved/Issue Reporting - KDE Community Wiki
I opened feature request in bugzilla in the past. If I wrote here is because now explicitly says if it is not a bug we need to open a thread in discuss.
Yeah I understand, it’s a bit tricky as that “If you’re not sure” notice is there more for problem reporting than feature requests - e.g. if someone has an issue and isn’t sure if it’s needing guidance as a user, or a fundamental challenge with the software, then that would ideally be vetted out here first
