Plasma Overview is awesome… But we can make it better!
Features that i think will make it better:
The most important thing is option to open overview only on current monitor and not on every monitor. If i stream or share my second screen and want to launch another app or select another window person on other end will see my switching.
Example: shared second screen in obs
Would be nice to have option to show recent and favorite apps, like in Gnome Dashboard. I don’t like Gnome much but i like the dashboard.
Make search bar larger as well as search results(customization in settings would be nice), maybe add option to have search results in grid layout. Maybe move search bar and search results to the left/right of the overview window
I used all my “coder skills” and asked AI to create dashboard plasmoid to fix my issues, not so fancy as Overview but it usable - DashLaunch
This is just a temporary solution(i hope) to my needs, i’m not advertising to use it but you welcome to if you want

The merged “per screen desktop switch” will allow you to switch virtual desktops on a per-screen basis, not to apply the overview effect on a current screen.
Implementing a task switcher that mimics the overview effect and potentially shares some of its code would allow the overview effect to “to open overview only on current monitor and not on every monitor”, as the task switcher already works on a single screen per activation.
There already is a tool that do almost everything i need . The only thing is bother me(and im sure im not alone) is overview on every monitor(per screen desktop switch is logically related). Favorite applications and customization - i can live without them, but i’d like to improve my favorite tool. And as i said it should be an option to enable/disable it for user taste.

I suggest you split your requests in different feature requests: one of them not being accepted could make it so none of them will be realized.
For example, you made 5 requests in the same feature request. Recent and favourite apps in Overview seems like a very specific feature and not everyone could agree, let alone the fact that a discussion needs to be had regarding how to implement that. This will certainly hinder your other requests.
In point 3 you made 3 different request related to the same component: I — again — suggest to move everything elsewhere and split the requests as much as possible. In the end, your single feature request could be split in 5 different requests and this maximizes the chances of having at least one of them accepted.
Finally, after splitting the requests, you should explain in length why they would be a good idea.
