Hello Plasma fans,
After a brief detour to Nextcloud-News, which didn’t meet my requirements at all, I ended up with FresRSS. Yes, it’s a bit more involved, but in return I can customise the feeds extensively. I’ve now added my most important feeds there and tweaked them so that they no longer contain any adverts. That’s important to me, as it means I can focus entirely on the news.
Now, I’m not a big fan of web interfaces, and as I like using Akregator, it would be really cool if Akregator supported the FresRSS API so that the status (unread/read, favourites, etc.) is synchronised across all clients.
Who knows, perhaps other users will find this useful too.
Best regards
