Features or bugs?

I have been using Digikam for a couple of weeks. I have a large library of digital photos going back almost 30 years, most of which lack geocoding. I am going through a process of adding co-ordinates, by copying and pasting either from other photos in my library or from Google Earth. I also maintain a document with the co-ordinates of frequently visited locations. I have come across a couple of issues while doing this and I am not sure if they are features or bugs.

  1. When, in Geolocation Editor, I paste co-ordinates copied from Google Earth, the program is intolerent of either a leading space or a trailing degree sign (I sometimes accidentally copy these). Confusingly, though, if I paste co-ordinates from my document, it does not care if I include or omit a leading “geo:”. Should I report this as a bug or suggest a product improvement?
  2. Again in Geolocation Editor, when I Apply co-ordinates I have entered, they only get applied to one photo, no matter how many I have selected. I then have to copy from the one photo and paste into the remaining ones. Again, is this a feature or a bug?

Thanks
