File selector window default location

How to set a default location to the file selector window?

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open an Internet browser;
  2. Navigate to some site that asks for selecting a file to be uploaded (e.g. can be a search by image in Google);
  3. The file selector window opens pointing to the last directory selected to download or upload a file.

I don’t think that feature exists.

Could someone confirm if this question should be turned into a feature request?
If so, could an administrator move this topic to the correct location?
