Filter and status function missing in version 5.2

In version 5.1 I used the filter (e.g. show all transactions from McDonald’s) and the status button (Erroneous, not marked etc) functions.
They are gone. Is there still a way to filter the transactions in the ledger screen somehow, or do I have to have all visible all the time?
I know about the find function but that’s doing the same job as it only give a view only result screen where I can’t edit any transactions.

Hello,

You’re right, the UI is a bit different in version 5.2.0.
The search function (finding editable transactions) still exists, as already asked here last month:

  1. Has the search (through transactions) bar disappeared from ledger interface in version 5.2?
  2. Kmymoney 5.2 missing searchfield in Kontobuch (account posting)

and the short answer is: press Ctrl+F while being in the ledger.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I do know (and use the find function).
But I was looking for the filter/status function. I would like to see only the transactions in the ledger that e.g. haven’t been marked. So I can check them and mark them off.
Without the filter by status function it makes it so much harder to see those transactions without the ‘C’ marking.
Has that feature completely disappeared or is it hidden somewhere?

As @surcouf wrote: Press Ctrl+F while the ledger has focus.

here you see what appears when you hit Ctrl+F in a ledger:

It is a text search bar and you have the drop-down list on the right side to filter by status function, which is what you look for.

Thanks for that.
I did finally find the filter/status bar (now at the bottom of the screen).
