Finding a use-case for changing the auto-hide Panel's non-hoverable trigger with a hoverable one

If you have ADHD, sorry for ruining your day.

The auto-hide panel’s trigger is a non-hoverable “1 x fullscreen” wide bar that requires X speed towards it to make the panel appear.

In Haruna, its playlist’s trigger doesn’t stop the cursor, which means that it’s possible to have a auto-hide panel’s trigger that:
1- Can have the cursor hovering over the trigger area.
2- Requires the same speed towards the panel while hovering over the trigger area.
Fun fact: Screen edges’ triggers are also non-hoverable.

There’s a problem though: There’s no use case that I know of that would justify allowing the user to navigate 100% of their screen(s). Bug 508549
There used to be a way of having a window under the trigger, but that got a workaround fix.

The trigger wastes 3840 pixels in a 4K monitor/TV, and 1920 pixels in a Full HD monitor/TV.

There has to be websites or games that uses these corner pixels.

Is the auto-hide functionality in here?

I noticed that the trigger area can be reached by starting a rubberband selection, but then any movement pushes the cursor out.
