Follow-up: Booting KDE Neon 24.04

Hello,
I previously posted re: booting challenges when attempting to upgrade to 24.04-- I tried full installs, and I ended up reverting back to Jammy. Today, I tried again to upgrade. At this point, there’s some form of race condition or (???)… Approximately every 1 in 4 attempts, I’m able to successfully boot the OS.

My grub config file removed the “quiet splash” :
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=“”

I don’t know why, but I’m still seeing “KDE neon” and “neon” boot options (however, “neon” does not seem to be functional).

Can anybody recommend something to help make booting Neon 24.04 consistent?

Thank you
