My motherboard always had issue where it doesn’t have front jack detection but audio will still output. On Windows I have to manually disable jack detection. But on KDE I can see my headphone as unplugged, and even momentarily I can switch to unplugged headphone AND HEAR SOUND but it instantly switches back to my HDMI audio out. I can’t keep headphone output permanently.
Turning off HDMI audio gives no audio. YouTube playback will never work unless I switch to Line Out… which isn’t my front jack.
Any solutions anyone?
