It’'s really the only “Core” characteristic lacking in elisa, its by far one of the most well sorted out music player for linux, yet, it lacks this quintessential ability for any music player.

This doesnt much new to Elisa yet, still cleaning up the gapless playback merge request and the autotests for it, but it works locally
