Get rid of watermark of projectname in the rendered video

Hi,

I am a new user of kdenlive and going to make a simple video (a few minutes long).
It have a short mp4 format clip and a waw audio channel.
I can render it to mp4 format, but in the beginning of the video have an overlay (a watermark text with projet file name) a few second long. I did not change any settings of it.
How can I get rid of it?
Where is the default setting what I have to remove?

Regards,
Imre

Are you watching the rendered video with VLC?

Yes, it have to write to it?

IIRC, VLC always displays the filename of the video being played. Perhaps you can switch that off in the settings. But it has nothing to do with Kdenlive. All good

Thank you, it is!

Tools > Preferences > Subtitles / OSD > Show media title on video start
I don’t have any clue why the VLC developers seem keen on making this the default setting. It is always the first thing I turn off.

It’s more useful when you have a long playlist that you may be skipping through than when you’re just using VLC to play a single file.

(not a VLC developer and don’t know what they were thinking, but it’s why I leave it enabled
