Ghostwriter - option or toggle to hide editor pane

Hi all,

Ghostwriter has become an essential tool for me, and I love the live preview feature. I was hoping that the fantastic developers would consider working on an option to hide the editor pane and just show the preview pane? Sometimes I like to view the html preview only while looking at another window in a split-screen view and my laptop monitor starts feeling very cramped with the editor pane also visible.

Thanks for providing such a phenomenal writing tool!

Hi! That’s definitely high praise, and I’m a big fan of Ghostwriter’s design as well

One suggestion I might offer - if you open the file you’re working on in Okular as well as Ghostwriter, and then make sure that Okular’s option to “Reload document on file change” is switched on (under Configure Okular > General), then it basically acts like an automatically refreshing preview window.

Then, you could have one workspace or window arrangement with Ghostwriter (editing plus its own preview), and then another with Okular plus whichever other window you need.

Just throwing an idea out there that might work with existing components, if they handle the core functions that you’re looking for?
