GIF graphics in Konsole while keeping the prompt functional?

There’s an option to start an image viewer with an animated GIF if you use the kitty terminal.

Except for a delay at startup, this keeps the terminal functional. Is there a way to achieve the same effect with Konsole? Sometimes it’s nice to have an animated graphics near the prompt to lighten up a little.

Can probably be done with konsole (sixel capable) and chafa.. I don’t know how well it might work in one window, but, then add tmux and and it’s certainly doable.
