Glaxnimate communication confusion

Hi!

Glaxnimate recently joined KDE. I am both a new user of Glaxnimate and the KDE community, which begs for confusion.

1. Bug reports, issues and feature requests.

Which one should I use? I just added two to bugs.kde.org, but should i remove them and add them to invent.kde.org instead?

2. Community discussion, help etc.

I know that there is a telegram channel, but is this forum also considered an official communication platform for glaxnimate now that it has joined KDE? If so, I would suggest that it is added on the glaxnimate website under Links adjacent to Telegram and others.

The bugtracker on Invent is generally for internal developer use. User bugs and feature requests should go in bugs.kde.org.
Yes, you can use this forum for official communication, but not all devs frequent this. You could request the developer to get a matrix channel setup for them.

If you could join the telegram group I would highly recommend that if you need help or advice, there are a bunch of users and the developer usually responds too (or you could search in the chat history). And yes, bugs.kde is the place to open a bug like someone already said

Thanks, then I know! bugs.kde.org it is (until I becoma an internal developer, that is  ).

(I understand that this is of course up to the maintainers to decide, but for various reasons I don’t use Telegram any longer (would prefer Matrix for chat) - and in general I think a searchable forum like this has many benefits.)

Thanks both for your answers!

iirc Telegram can be bridged to matrix. I think an official matrix chat bridge to the telegram group makes sense. You should ask the developer to request it. KDE Matrix folk should set it up for them.
