Gnome updates showed up in discover

Hi, everyone! Hope you’re all having a nice life!
I’m getting some updates for Gnome desktop, which I’ve never used/installed (in Neon) I dismissed them of course, but why am I getting that? And it’s only in discover, pkcon returns nothing.

My system info:
Operating System: KDE neon 5.27
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.8
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.110.0
Qt Version: 5.15.10
Kernel Version: 6.2.0-33-generic (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: X11

These are flatpak dependencies for some Gnome/Gtk application you have installed. They are the core set of libraries needed to run this type of desktop application. It is not the whole Gnome desktop or anything like that.

This one package is akin to the 39.625 individual Gnome dependencies you might see if the package were installed from a native deb.

Because Discover also supports Flatpak, Snaps, as well as KDE Store theming items. Pkcon is the part of Discover that only handles native Ubuntu deb packages.

Thanks for the reply. Ah, yeah, I did install “save desktop” SaveDesktop | Flathub So that’s why I’m getting this? Is there a KDE alternative to this app?

There is nothing wrong with using your current tool to be honest. A small amount of bloat, I am sure, but probably not as much as you think.

There are a number of similar tools, from command-line ones to widgets you can use to do this.
I am not familiar with these, or if they still work, but the widget seems to still be good, based on recent comments/reviews.
