Hi all! My Google Calendar stopped working in KOrganizer/Merkuro/Akonadi recently. Even when I try to sign in again, I get the error from the title. I’m using Fedora 42. If anything else is needed to help troubleshoot, please let me know ![]()
I have the same issue.
The symptoms of this issue are:
- In Kwallet “Akonadi Google” directory, no longer contains “Binary Data” entry, but instead a “Maps” entry (which is now empty).
~/.local/share/kwalletd/kdewallet_attributes.jsoncontains an additional entry with a“type”: “map”, the original entry is still declared in this file with"type": "base64"
After investigation, you can resolve it temporarily (but closing and opening KDE session makes the problem appeared).
To solve it for the current session, open kwalletmanager5, remove “Akonadi Google” directory, open KOrganizer, update configuration by asking Google again the authorization for KOrganizer to access your calendar (but do not remove the Google Calendar, otherwise you may lose information not yet synchronized).
For information I have seen this suspicious message log when I open my session:
