Hi, openSUSE Tumbleweed 20250211 on a machine here. i5-6600k with AMD RX 560 GPU is running well after the upgrade to the updated KDE 6.3.0 but one problem came up thus far. TOR when opening multiple tabs within a website can freeze both heads of the entire session. TTY1 or TTY3 is not always reachable, The resulting SystemD journal message that may be relavant is :< kwin_wayland_wrapper[2103]: Key repeat discarded, Wayland compositor doesn't seem to be processing events fast enough!
I did place KWIN_DRM_DISABLE_TRIPLE_BUFFERING=1
in /etc/environment
save, then powercycle machine with no better results. Workaround for now is to open tabs one at a time (then allow to load completely). I think something with how the updated Wayland reacts to TOR openSUSE package is causing the problem as it’s not experienced with prior version of Wayland nor Kernel. Using X11 results in no crashing behavior of this sort either.
Do you have any thoughts on this?
Thank you for your efforts also.
