While I was on this gwenview topic… Did someone of the devs ever came up with this silly gwenview dual pane mode idea ? See, it’s kinda frustrating ( what’s in a word) that you can’t stay in a certain directory if you want to see two files that are in different directories side by side . There are image viewers out there that can ( for the life of me….can’t remember, not today)
Just open up two Gwenview windows side-by-side?
Why didn’t I think of that. So, if you want to compare, say, 6 different files that are in 6 different directories, you just open 6 different gwenview windows right? Yeah, a split view option is redundant then.
Why bother with an option with which you can select different files side by side or top and bottom….
When you can simply open a bunch of windows, less cluttered. Perfect for smaller screens.
