Having issues with Dolphin's selection effect

The case you highlight is the worse case: very wide and tall lines in details mode.
Still our software shouldn’t cause discomfort.

I also understand the change and i’ve seen this change in many selection items in plasma, most of wich didn’t bother me much because the highlight boxes wern’t big enough for my eyes to consider them being flashes (and so far, i’ve never seen a selection box being significantly brighter on-click anywhere else than in dolphin).

Just to clarify : I don’t get petrified every time I click a folder but I feel slightly tiered from there I know that is not good in the long run.

We already worked on reducing the flashing our software can do.

We should do something. If that reaches discomfort to you, to other it might be worse.
