If I turn off HDR, the fonts are fine. If I set scaling to 125% fonts are fine. If I take a screenshot, the fonts are fine, so it feels like it might be visual on the monitor itself? I tried to take a screenshot using spectacle to show it, but it looks fairly normal.
It’s really bad and 1125% is unusable as it is too big for me and it causes buttons and UI elements to be messed up.
I’m not sure what to do, I didn’t see this problem under Windows and I really want to keep HDR on and not have to toggle it on and off when I launch specific games.
How did you manage to install Nvidia Drivers on KDE 6.2.3?
I was following instructions by
if-not-true-then-false dot com but all I’ve got after installation is a black screen.
I have the same issue with my Samsung Galaxy G9, when the fonts become smaller, they are “bleeding”.
It’s especially true with red fonts.
I don’t know what parameter I can use to improve that.
I have the latest proprietary NVidia drivers.
Here are some examples
Red icon is ok in sdr
But it bleeds in hdr
SDR font (see the orange font) is really ok
But it’s “Not Twice the Same Color” in hdr, you can clearly see lighter and darker orange letters
Same thing than previous post : scaling up, setting a lower resolution will have the issue corrected…
I’m using KDE 6.5.4 (Wayland obviously to make HDR work) with NVidia proprietary drivers 590.48.01 on Manjaro.
