How can I configure plasmalogin to blank the screen after a set period?

screen timeout can be found in settings > screen locking or using Meta+L

I tried settings > screen locking but it only seems to apply to the desktop (after login).

you want the actual lock screen to go blank after a time?

you can likely set your monitor to time out in the settings for each monitor.

The issue is with the login interface, not the lock screen.

so you are talking about SDDM screen

again the only timer on that is the timer built into your monitor

plasma is coming up with a replacement for SDDM that may have what you need, but i’m not familiar with it.
