Thank you. For the record, I also tried disabling it through pactl
based on similar questions I found online but I could not disable the specific port, only the entire sink (much like the GUI), which includes the display I do want to use. Then I tried manually adjusting the priority for “HDMI 4” so it was higher than “HDMI” through a config file but that had no effect.
