As you can see in the screenshot, the CPU and GPU temperature on the left of my top panel are very compact whereas some of the others have large gaps in them. I would like to know if it’s possible to make them all more compact like the ones furthest to the left. Also, I was wondering if it’s possible to get rid of the colors so that it just shows each icon along with the assigned value.
if you are looking at the upload / download monitors, it’s likely related to the scale you set for the measurement, or maybe because its set to auto scale.
as for color bar, just configure the sensor as text only and do not graph it by including it in the “sesnors” field… then the color legend will not appear.

Yes, I am talking about the network speed monitor but also all the usage monitors. They are reserving space for extra digits and I am curious if there is a way to change that behavior. Usage of any individual component should never get near 100% anyways.

Here are the settings I currently have. Whenever I move all the sensors to the text only section, they disappear completely.
i think i see the problem now, when i use the text only type of sensor display it will add the legend to the text display
it either adds a colored legend based on the colors set in the sensors field, or a black legend (separator) if placed in the text only field.
it seems the legend itself is only suppressed when a style of display is chosen that has both graphical and text info such as the pie chart… there the text only senors show without the legend (but you get the graph).
if you just want text without a graph and without a legend, then the best you can do is edit the colors of each sensor to match exactly the background of the panel or widget so it invisible, still takes up space tho.
short of that you are modifying the qml script
