How do I access default notifications widget files?

I am trying to modify the functionality of my notifications widget but can’t access the notification widget that comes with my system. Could not find widget in usr/local/share/plasma/plasmoids/.

the default ones are in

/usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/

on my distro.

that’s the correct directory for fedora 43

I just realized what you were talking about, I was searching local/share/plasma/plasmoids instead of usr/share/plasma/plasmoids, I found the widgets, thank you.

Both locations should work, with the local one taking precedence.

E.g. could copy from the system location to the user-local location and make your modifications there
