How do I improve animal face detection?

Hiya! Very impressive tagger you’ve built! I really like the face detection engine, too. It’s working flawlessly for any people that were in the photos I’ve fed it.

Where it’s falling a bit flat is detecting animal faces. Now, from the docs I’ve read that I have to train the model via some manual tagging. I’ve been doing that. So far I’ve manually face-tagged about 70 combined images of two different house cats, but the engine isn’t finding any hits in hundreds more of the same cats. I’ve also periodically rebuilt (via Maintenance) and rescanned the facial recognition data as I go.

Here’s a sample of what I’ve tagged so far:

You can see that I’ve got a pretty good variety of angles and lighting conditions, enough that you’d think the engine would pick up something new in the scans of the files yet to be reviewed.

Is there anything else I can do to improve the detection rate to above 0%? Toggling a setting or dropping in an extended AI model or what have you?

Thanks in advance!
