How do I set konsole as the default terminal

Simply signaling an issue is rarely enough to understand how it occurred. It is thus important to provide details on how it happened:

You MUST provide system information because otherwise only YOU know what’s going on, and everyone else is blindly guessing.

It is not abnormal for someone using an iPhone not to be able to set Konsole as their default terminal.

If you have a KDE desktop, then you can quickly grab information by using the menu (type ‘info’) and then click ‘Copy Details’.

Then in here, you can click the cog, and ‘Hide Details’

Or you can simply type three backticks (the tilde `~ key) and paste the information like this:

Then you must also explain your situation. I can’t see Konsole at all - but I can call it up via keyboard shortcut.

Otherwise via krunner, or menu (type ‘kons’ to filter Konsole).
